No matter what time of the year it is, there’s a possibility that you’ll wake up one morning congested. Whether it’s cold and flu season or if your neighborhood is doing yard work, kicking up allergens into the air, the possibilities are endless when it comes to congestion. The fastest way to feel relief is using a nasal spray. But it’s important that you use it correctly to get the most benefit from the product.

Xlear Nasal Spray is an over-the-counter product that you can find at many stores located near you, or online through our shop. But once you have your nasal spray, how do you use it properly to get the most out of the product?

Using a nasal spray is simple. You’ll first want to blow your nose to get as much of the mucous out of the passageways as possible. You’ll also want to “prime” the bottle before using it. That simply means removing the cap and holding the bottle upright and pumping or squeezing until the solution is dispensed.

You’ll want to gently insert the nozzle into one nostril while blocking the other nostril. Squeeze the bottle to dispense the spray while gently breathing in. Repeat this 2-4 times per nostril.

When you’re finished using your Xlear Nasal Spray, make sure to clean the nozzle and replace the safety cap.

But how often should you use your nasal spray?  This depends upon the type of spray you’re using. While many over-the-counter products contain ingredients that can cause nasal spray addiction, Xlear does not.  With nasal sprays other than Xlear, it’s recommended you only use them for about 3 days to avoid rebound congestion.  Because our solution is natural and drug free, it is safe to use as often as needed and for as long as needed, without the risk of rebound congestion.  We recommend using Xlear Nasal Spray twice a day, morning and night, to fight bacteria and irritants before they take a hold of your sinuses.

Breathe better and be better with the help of Xlear nasal spray.
