It's
more than a healthy smile, Kansas City Star
"Students at Anthony and Earl M. Lawson Elementary schools in the
Leavenworth school district are actually being encouraged to eat
snacks after breakfast and lunch.
"The snacks are chewable Xylitol wafers, which help reduce
tooth decay in at-risk children at the schools. Xylitol is a substance
that helps reduce cavities by up to 40 percent, according to studies."
Low-calorie
sugar that helps your teeth, Daily Mail (U.K.)
" Not only does it prevent tooth decay, it can actually repair decay

or gums before and after their baby was born were able to protect
their child from tooth decay for up to six years."
