Rain

Xlear is proud to announce Rain™ Dry Mouth Spray, the latest product in the Spry Dental Defense System. Rain is an all natural, sugar-free product that can be used as often as necessary to provide immediate relief and moisture to individuals suffering from "dry mouth" or xerostomia,-whether caused by aging, medication, or a medical treatment program.

Rain includes a high dosage of xylitol, which naturally increases salivation and promotes good oral health by helping to control the bacteria that can proliferate in the mouth when there is insufficient saliva. Rain has a natural spearmint flavor that helps to freshen breath and also includes calcium, which improves tooth enamel mineralization.

Each pack of Rain includes two pump-action spray bottles; a 3.5 fluid oz. spray bottle and a 1.0 fluid oz. take-along bottle that can be toted in a purse or pocket. Rain retails for $13.99 and is available on our website at http://www.Xlear.com or through retailers across the country.

Dear Customer,

The arrival of July means the heat of summer! With the warmer weather comes longer days, plenty of sunshine, and for many of us, a chance to relax with family and friends. Xlear is pleased to offer you a variety of products that will make this a great summer.

A happy couple watching the cloudsWhile the kids are at home all day keep them away from junk food by having SparX candies on hand. These delicious, bite-sized candies are sweetened with 100% pure xylitol, making them a tasty treat that's actually good for kids!

If you're traveling this summer you might also consider packing with you a bottle of Xlear's Nasal Wash. Amusement parks, rest stops, and campgrounds are not always the most germ-free environments. Keep yourself armed against harmful bacteria in the air by using Xlear Nasal Wash to regularly flush harmful bacteria away.

Finally, if you're just venturing to your backyard this summer, try using Xlear's Xylosweet Sugar Substitute to sweeten your favorite treats. The xylitol-based sweetener has been shown to help reduce cavities by up to 80% and it's just as sweet as sugar. But, because Xylosweet has 40% fewer calories you won't be afraid to put on that bathing suit!

We hope you enjoy the warmer weather and this month's Crystal Xlear Newsletter. As always, please send us your feedback and suggestions to crystalxlear@xlear.com.

Cooking with Xylitol

Sweeten Your Life the Xylitol WayThis xylitol recipe is courtesy of the revised and expanded xylitol cookbook "Sweeten Your Life the Xylitol Way," by Karen Edwards, PhD. The recipe book is available through Xlear.com.

Dark Chocolate Mint Ice Cream

2 cups fat-free milk
¼ cup arrowroot powder
1 ¾ cups XyloSweet
4 egg yolks
2 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup reduced-fat sour cream
1 cup whipping cream
4 ounces unsweetened chocolate bar
1 teaspoon peppermint extract

Mint Ice CreamPlace milk in a small saucepan and heat to almost boiling. Remove from heat and set aside. Combine arrowroot powder and xylitol in a medium bowl. Thoroughly beat egg yolks into xylitol mixture. Slowly add scalded milk to egg mixture, stirring until well blended. Transfer this mixture to top of double boiler, and cook over boiling water, stirring constantly, until custard is thick and smooth. Strain, if necessary. Stir in vanilla extract, peppermint extract, and unsweetened chocolate bar until melted. Pour mixture into a large bowl. Stir in sour cream until thoroughly combined, cover bowl, and refrigerate until chilled.

Beat whipping cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold whipped cream into chilled custard mixture. Transfer to small automatic ice cream maker and freeze. Yield: thirteen ½ cup servings.

Xlear Product Testimonial

"I just wanted to let you know that I started using your product Xlear about two days ago. It works 100 times better than the doctor prescribed Nasacort. I am going to discontinue the Nasacort, I was always concerned about the steroids in this product. I have been a severe allergy sufferer for over twenty years, and of course this usually means we have the sinus problems too. I am not sure why I never heard of your product before, but I will spread the word, even to my doctor.

"Thank you,

Jesse H."
