New Formula Not as GoodReview by BeachMammal

I've used Spry for many years. The new tube I got is a disappointment. It's less minty. It doesn't taste bad to me, but not nearly as good. One of the worst things is the difficulty in squeezing out the contents. My hands are not weak, but I have to squeeze so hard I'm afraid the side of the tube will burst. The consistency is just too thick to make it through the small opening. (Posted on 10/9/2018)
Why would they change a good thing?Review by MMc

I’ve used this toothpaste for years. I’ve had great checkups (every six months for at least a decade, maybe 2). I’ve brushed with this toothpaste through 3 years of braces. It’s never failed me. Then, they changed the formula. I HATE it!! Xylitol is no longer the #1 ingredient, it tastes horrible, and it doesn’t feel like I’ve cleaned my teeth well when I’m done brushing.
Why would they change it when obviously so many people use it and liked the old formula that works?!? Bad business decision on someone’s part.
Now I have to find a different toothpaste. (Posted on 3/19/2018)

They changed formula and is NOT what it used to be. We used it for years and loved it. I hope they change to previous formula. I am looking for a new product. Sorry Xlear!! (Posted on 12/12/2017)
Don't like the new formulaReview by CC

I have used this toothpaste for years but now they have changed it. It is goopy instead of smooth and light texture. I agree with the previous review. Unfortunately I just bought a new tube because Amazon showed the old silver tube picture, but what arrived is the new version anyway. After this tube I will look for a new product. I am sad. I loved the old formula. (Posted on 12/4/2017)
Flavor could be betterReview by July

This toothpaste has not been that great. I'd say it's a little better than the Wintergreen version which to me tasted and smelled almost like rubber, sad to say! The flavor of this isn't Minty enough and just tastes a little too sweet and plain of you ask me. It's a little bit too pricy too for a toothpaste especially with this type of issue with the reformulation but have heard they've been trying to work on the non-Flouride formula version first, and really hope they can work on the Floride ones as well soon! Not the same formula or taste!Review by MamaFlosses

This toothpaste has been reformulated some time during the past year. Xylitol is no longer the #1 ingredient! The flavor has also changed for the worse. The former product was much, much better! I do not recommend the new formula, and will be shopping around for a different product that uses xylitol as the first ingredient. Not to mention the latest packaging has a horrible lid and it gets all gummed up and crusty. Why did they mess with a good thing?
Very disappointing as my dentist recommend Spry toothpaste 5+ years ago which yielded positive results for my dental health. (Posted on 9/23/2017)
